One of my painting as my pseudo : Romain Héjé, when i walk through the garden to the old barn where i paint on sundays when everyone left.
I choose to paint -The Tragic characters- series as a break through my abstract paintings the need to face up to reality "representation". Abstract art is when everything is fine when you can afford to stay aside. These days as an artist I fell I have to meet in some ways easy to read "real images", figuration. A little like exorcism... The woman in politic has lost her compass, "perdre la main" we say in french : a tragic character. To loose one's own hand could be a tragic thing for an artist in fine art. In a particuliar way the hand of Segoléne in the photographic model was unclear badly define. That gave me the crush plus her expression of self uncertainty.
The painting has a soft satin varnish

Canvas oil paint wooden strecher varnish.
