Artwork description:
“Trace of Origin” comprises six intaglio prints. The images are created from the process of hot glass. After spending time in the hot shop handling heavy bronze ladles, I gained confidence in controlling my body movements and mapping the melted glass for the print image. The final result is embedded in the paper. For me, the act of melting and printing is something I capture with a shot, but with the added element of fire that burns it down.
