This original gabbro sculpture is one of the latest artworks of the skillful Bulgarian contemporary sculptor Rasho Mitev, deeply inspired by modernism, naturalism and organic abstractionism. It has beautiful authentic natural charm, mixed with the unique artistic style. Gabbro is a dense black, mafic intrusive rock. It is often found along mid-ocean ridges or in ancient mountains composed of compressed and uplifted oceanic crust.
