Original artwork description:

An impressionist painting drawn from memories of where I grew up, we lived close to a canal although it was no longer in use the towpaths and ruins of lockkeepers houses were a great place for an adventure. The painting follows the canal and towpath into the distance.

The painting is oil on canvas board and measures 12 x 9 ins, unframed.
