In this painting, I sought to capture the serene yet vibrant essence of a snow-clad landscape. Using oil to blend the techniques of impressionism and realism, I summon the raw, chilly atmosphere of winter, juxtaposed with the warmth of a rustic hut at its heart. One of the first field studies painted in winter in the beloved Kolomenskoye park is the Tower of Bratsk Ostrog.
