An en plein air acrylic painting of Tower Bridge, London painted in the summer of 2018. This is a lovely picture with beautiful colours reflecting the light and stone of the bridge in the afternoon. The brush work is loose and undefined giving a impressionistic feeI. As the light changed I adapted my palette using delicate hues which gives the bridge a softness and ethereal presence.
I painted this painting while out with a group I started the Facebook group London Sketchers. Please join :-)
