Original artwork description:

Wolvesnewton is a small village in Monmouthshire, south east Wales. I painted a series of 'plein air' paintings capturing the graphic undulations of the hills and fields as the landscape swept towards the Brecon Beacons in the distance. It would be impossible to capture the view in it’s full glory as the light changes by the second, so I opted for a more graphic interpretation of the main hues at that moment. This painting is one of a series investigating different colour shifts over the landscape.
