One of a series of paintings from earlier this year when I was trying things out, in this case I wanted lots of movement in a landscape. It's an imagined landscape of Tuscany with a roiling sky which I painted in one session to avoid overworking it. Sort of Edgar Allan Poe in Tuscany...
