An impressionistic Scottish mountain waterfall landscape painting inspired by the wild and rugged scenery of the Torridon hills on the west coast of Scotland.
Painted in an impressionistic style with an atmospheric and moody cloudy sky with warmer colours of muted magenta, blue and ochre colours for the surrounding heather moorland. In this painting I have tried to portray the atmosphere of the hills and moors and rocky waterfalls and the changeable weather conditions of this remote area with a shaft of sunlight on the illuminating the hillside.
Painted in a contemporary gestural style with a palette knife
Painted using quality artists oils on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a gloss varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
Will require a signature on delivery.
