Artwork description:

I was commissioned to create this image by a couple in London who hail from Howarth. Whilst buildings are not my favoured subject matter (something about the straight lines I think) I really enjoyed the process of working with the client in the origination of this image.

I visited Top Withens, in the heart of Bronte country, as part of the research. The derelict farm building is situated fairly prominently on the moorland above Howarth, and are the destination for many a day-tripper to this famous literary mecca.
