I live in the Pennine Moors close to this house, and love to paint these wild, open desolate landscapes.
Top Withens is a ruined farmhouse which is said to have been the inspiration for the location of the Earnshaw family house Wuthering Heights in the 1847 novel of the same name by Emily Brontë.
This work is painted with oil paints onto heavy primed Artists hand made watercolour paper that is as strong as card.
The painting is signed by me, EAFox
The work comes unframed
