This painting is 28 x 36cm acrylic painting on thick, 300gsm grey toned mixed media paper. With the frame, it is approximately 37 x 41 cm.

The frame is ready to hang, with a wire across the back. Please see the images provided to see the frame and close up photos of the painting.

I was inspired by the colours of nature and basic shapes of trees and bushes. This was a loose, expressive painting rather than accurate representation of the landscape.
Always inspired by impressionism, I created bold markings and big brushstrokes to give the painting some character. I also made some marks with pencils.
