Original artwork description:

The watercolor painting “Tonk Indian City, Rajasthan” was painted from life during my 2019 trip to India.

Even in the smallest Indian city in the central square there is a similar clock tower as in this work. And around such a tower there is a market with a local flavor where they sell all sorts of things.

My friend Mahesh gave a real welcome. He specially came for me to the capital of the state of Rajasthan, the city of Jaipur, and took me to his small town of Tonk, invited the local media, television and a newspaper, they interviewed me, and then I showed a master class at a local art college.

After that they gave me a real solemn reception, sang songs, hung wreaths of fresh flowers around my neck, in general they paid tribute to the king, I only saw this on TV, it was very interesting, unusual, fun and pleasant.
Very nice hospitable people live in India!

The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

Also on my page you can see other original paintings painted from life during my plein air travels in Italy, India, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey. And also see my paintings with flowers and still lifes painted from nature.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
