Original artwork description:

I was inspired by the poem 'Tonight I can write the saddest lines' poem by Pablo Neruda to paint this artwork. It is the sort of sky I could imagine he saw whilst writing it. The bold reds meandering into bleaker maroons or the deafening red, reflecting off the water as a paler more timid pink. All this whilst at the same time being passionate, alive and beautiful.

14 x 11 inch.

Materials used:

acrylic on canvas.
