Large original oil on canvas of a master study after American Tonalist painter Birge L. Harrison, depicting a cosily lit cottage near the shore with a moon partially hidden behind clouds.
Linen canvas size 24x20 inches, framed size 27.5x23.5 inches, 2 inches deep maximum. Handmade black matt wooden frame included.
Many layers and glazes to re-create a Tonalist scene from the late 19th century.
Hand painted and unique, from my Kent studio.
