Original artwork description:

The tomatoes from the garden in the summer were so beautiful that I was inspired to try a classic still life portrait of them. I was interested to see if that style of composition was possible using watercolor paints in place of oils. I loved how the light reflected off of the surface of the tomatoes as well as the varnished surface of the table.
