This was drawn from life on a chilly spring evening in Tokyo, Japan. I like the way neon lights stand out against the darkness of an evening in the city. They create a very atmospheric and hazy scene with their colours. It was a fun challenge to try and recreate the feeling of hazy neon light using Oil Pastels.
