Original artwork description:

"Toi et Moi jusqu'au bout du Monde " is the continuity of my latest quest with pastel tones, still a lot inspired by Odilon Redon, and Bonnard, their colours, their touches, brush strokes, I love so much the silky atmosphere which can be find in some of their works.

There all is order, naught amiss:
Comfort and beauty, calm and bliss

Là, tout n'est qu'ordre et beauté,
Luxe, calme, et volupté.
"L'invitation au voyage, Charles Baudelaire."

This series of paintings is called "Flirtation with reality".
It's an evocation of nature and countryside, an evocation of natural landscapes, I made the realism more obvious than in the other paintings, pushing further the borders between abstraction and realism.
The hues used are less flashy, less colour contrasted -even if that can still happen- (the transitions between colours are more subtle), tinted with a touch of melancholy. I want it more romantic, with a lingering feeling of nostalgia, but in a poetic way.

If you buy more than one the same size, the shipping will apply only once,
usually if I can send all the works at once (maximum up to 3 in a same box for canvas and up to 5 or 6 for paper works) I make the reduction and I keep you inform, feel free to contact me if you need further informations or if you have any questions.

MATERIALS:
"Toi et Moi jusqu'au bout du Monde " is painted with acrylic on a stretched canvas (standard cotton), it is signed on the front, and will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
