Depicting a road through a frozen landscape, 'Together Alone' is based on a journey between Pouch Cove and St John's, Newfoundland. As I further push the chroma in these new paintings, I'm discovering colours that surprise me - the warm purple in the sky for example. Painted on a Canadian Birch panel, it has clean white sides and is ready to hang without further framing.
