Original artwork description:
This is my first abstract of 2021, it was finished in the early days of another lockdown in the UK. The title "Together Alone" comes from a song by a local duo (Hannah and Abbe) who perform as "Sound of the Sirens". Never has there been a time when we are more Together Alone, so it seems like a good title for these strange times.
I like to experiment with different mark-making techniques. This one took several months to complete and was started before I had even heard of covid. It has lots of detail that deserve close inspection and would best suit a small intimate space.
It would look great in a variety of settings, including a modern apartment. It is ready to hang.
Materials used:
Acrylic paint brushed onto canvas.
