Abstracted impressionistic painting.

One in a series of autumnal paintings, this one represents all the hedges, banks and hedgerows which are turning the most beautiful, vibrant, shades of reds, yellows, browns and pinks, amongst the greens of late summer.

Towards Autumn...it's getting that end of the season feeling here, colours intensify and those reds and deep pinks creep into the banks and borders. And the sun is shining! I have just finished this 30x90cm painting.

I love to use quality acrylic paints, and drip, brush, use a palette knife, use rags and drop paint onto my canvas in many layers to give a very textured and complex paint surface.

This painting is 30x90cm, it is unframed and has white painted edges. It is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
