To the Other Side is about (spiritual) marriage or conjunction, about reconnecting with ancient, primordial family archetypes and powers.
What we see here is a young couple crossing a river and heading to their family and ancestors. The bride is the leading figure and the bridegroom follows. This is so because the female principle is more family oriented and represents the continuation of the blood relations, the birth and death cycle. So, the bridegroom is led by her as a follower is led by their guide. In order to reach the deeper layers of the family and collective memory as well as the structural archetypes, the newlyweds need to cross the river (of time) and so they do. The family is positioned before a temple - just like as if posing for a photo to capture the important moment of the family history.
Again, not everything visual is to be put in words. At least I prefer not to do so.
