Original artwork description:

'To The Moon' was inspired by the use of Gold, White, and Black and how these colors interact with one another when used together in an acrylic pour as well as by the oval shape of the canvas.

In the acrylic pour method, the paint is poured onto the canvas and is then manipulated through movement and other techniques to result in an unexpected outcome over several hours to a few days (depending on dry time).

The paint has been allowed to spill over the sides of the canvas to emphasize the immediacy of the technique.

A high gloss varnish has been applied to protect the work and provide a glass-like finish.

This painting, signed on the back, is ready to hang with a wire attached and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. This painting works well as it is here in a vertical fashion, but may also be hung horizontally if desired for a different effect.
