Original artwork description:

Eggtion Figures - mixed media media sculpture, polymer resin , copper, steel, and wood. 12 x 9 x 6 in.

The Eggs are made of casting resin. I made a silicone mold from real chicken egg and cast resin in it. They are colored with alcohol ink and crackle finish acrylic paint. Limbs are hand fabricated with copper tubing, wire, and sheet. Nearly 100 holes are hand punched in each figure to create its joints to articulate each figure’s body language into perfection before sealing the joints permanently with fixative.
Sculpture is freestanding on the base with magnet attachment.

The inspiration of this piece is to describe our desire and challenging for sky. It is projection through my imaginary world of egg people. I would imagine their yearning for sky is even stronger than us. It feels fitting to me. This piece is To The Moon series 4 of 5.

My sculptures are dispatched carefully packaged in Instapack( Liquid foam packing system) with double boxing cardboard boxes, sent via a tracked courier, insured to the value of the artwork with in 7 days.

Please contact me if you have any questions.
