The great dichotomy of Earthly Love and Heavenly Love harmonically unite in this artwork. Eros, bearing a few of his flowers, heartily embracing Philia. Philia sensually touching his companion. As characteristic for my works, pointillism reflects the elevated mood and transcendence of happening. Our mask (persona), whether it is a pig mask or an excessive flower crown, becomes our inseparable nature. Only gods know what is divine by our birthright and what is natural after we stop resisting and accept our Self.
This work participated in the personal show "Carpe Noctem" at the Kennedy Gallery, Sacramento, January 6th - February 6th, 2022.
