Title: To see beyond the sea...

Iceland, on the shores of Jokulsarlon, the sky and sea meet with only a strip of water to be seen, like a strip of silver ribbon lying on the horizon. The snow is white and the sky is a soft rose pink to welcome the new day. Iceland is a quiet place of few people, here the shores are untouched by man and the snow is perfectly white. It feels as if you are apart from the world and all possibilities lie beyond the sea.

This will be printed on beautiful, silky Canson Rag Photographique fine art paper. The image has a generous white border with the title, print number and signature at the bottom of the print.

About My Work
I believe in giving my clients beautiful artwork on luxury papers that hold their colours for a lifetime. I do all my own printing, having spent years learning this skill I prefer to maintain control of the colour representation at all stages to ensure you get a truly handmade image.

About My Materials
People often say that my images look like paintings because of the richness of the colours, the depth of the black and the texture of the materials I use. Canson are one of the oldest paper manufacturers in the world, they have been making paper for over 450 years in France. Founded in 1557 and printers to Louis XVI, their paper was used by Voltaire and Napoleon and the Montgolfier brothers used Canson paper to make the first hot air balloon. Canson paper was used by Picasso, Ingres, Chagal, Miro and many other artists. They have been making paper and canvas for photography since this art began over 150 years ago. Canson are Eco Friendly - they purchase paper pulp only from forests managed in a sustainable way which also makes them pretty special.
