A woman next to an open window, in front of her, outside the window, a bird takes flight its wings gracefully spread, cutting the air in a gesture of freedom, as the bird rises high, the woman watches her flight is as if in that moment something inside her melted. Happiness, you ask, where is it? Is it perhaps in that brief moment of connection with nature, in that feeling of peace you feel watching a free being hover in the air? Or maybe happiness is right there, inside her, awakened by a small moment of wonder and beauty?
Perhaps happiness is not a physical place, but a state of mind, a moment of awareness that fills the soul with light and warmth.
