Original artwork description:

'Titanic Embrace' is an original, highly detailed and realistic graphite pencil drawing on Hahnemühle Nostalgie paper which took many, many hours to complete. This lightly textured paper with an off white colouring is new to me. It enables me to produce a complete range of tones, from particularly rich velvety darks to pale silver greys, without the loss of any detail.

My African Elephant subjects have their trunks entwined as if they are embracing. This affectionate behaviour, often seen when related elephants greet each other, I think makes for an excellent composition against the plain background.

Measuring approximately 15.5 x 11 inches, this drawing is presented in a white mount that has a black core which frames the image in a fine dark rectangle. It is framed within a one and a quarter inch, lightweight, distressed silver gilt frame to a total size of about 21.5 x 17 inches, ready to hang. The drawing is signed on the front and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Conscious of the need to recycle, I re-use shipping materials whenever possible. Therefore my package may not always be the prettiest, but you can be sure that I will still have made it as secure and robust as possible.
