This work of art is an oil on linen painting showing a girl and a ceramic rooster at the table. The “tired rooster” which gives the name to the painting is a ceramic work made by the master ceramists of Grottaglie, in the Italian region of Puglia. This place is renowned for the production of ceramic and it is also the birthplace of one of my teachers: Mastro Oronzo. The ceramic “tired rooster” is a piece that I have at home; one day I decided to make a painting with it and this artwork is the result.

“Tired rooster” is a 60x44cm painting which is ready to hang and holds a unique certificate of authenticity.
