- Recently Released From Artist's Private Collection

This painting was previously part of my private collection and has not been available to purchase until now. I call this painting abstract in that it is a still life that was blown up and "zeroed in on" as my late great mentor Robert Gilmore would say. The colors and folds in the fabric take abstract shapes and are gigantic in size. The objects in the center were tiny copper pipes arranged in a way that reminded me of a tiny city. In this sense it also has landscape-type qualities. There was also originally a vibrant and colorful abstract painting beneath this painting and I have painted it in a way that the original color shines through the muted colors and limited surface palette and makes the painting glow a little. All of these factors make this a truly unique and personal favorite painting of mine. It is large at 4' x 4' and will fill up any space with color and form.

Note: This painting is also unique in that it was created on canvas and stretcher bars made and stretched by the artist himself. Painting has been cleaned and varnished to bring out the original color and to protect the painting.

This painting is signed on the front and come rolled in a tube. The buyer will have the choice of picking out the right frame for this piece, however I highly recommend using the convenient Artfinder framing service on this page. It ships and includes my Certificate of Authenticity.
