Artwork description:

An original, hand burnished Linocut Print that is part of a limited edition and is titled and signed.

Canned sardines are a delicacy in Portugal. The country has a long fish-canning tradition, to the point that the sardine has become a national icon. In this detailed piece I have kept the background white so the attention is purely on this iconic Food.

This print has been hand carved and printed with a mix of silver and black, oil based block printing ink.

Materials used:

Oil based ink
