Khadi Paper has been hand made ethically in India, largely in Nepal and Bhutan. They are made from 100% cotton rag. Genuine rag papers are rare and it is the fibre length of this raw material that gives Khadi rag papers their exceptional strength and durability. The cotton rag they use comes from T-shirt cuttings, a reliable source of pure woven cotton. It has a rough texture and four deckled edges giving it a rustic as well as a handmade feel. No two sheets of this paper are exactly the same
