Artwork description:

A six colour reduction linocut from one plate based on a rotating wheel or gear.
The coloured spokes are lit up with bight colour.
After the first colour is printed from the Japanese vinyl, the area that is cut away afterwards will be preserved. A second colour is printed over the first and then more is cut away. Subsequent colours are printed over and these steps are repeated until the vinyl is reduced down, but the print has many layers of carefully registered colours. A printing press will give even flat colours.
