Artwork description:
This is a solar etching called 'Time to Fly'. It is made by using an image which I have created in Photoshop and then printed onto a transparency. This is put over a light-sensitive polymer plate which is exposed to UV light. This transfers the image to the plate, which I can then print in the same way as a traditional etching. Each print is inked up, wiped, and put through an etching press.
It is from an edition of 50 prints and is signed and numbered. The print is 20.5 cm x 20.5 cm and the paper is 30cm x 42cm.
