Original artwork description:

This is a modern abstract work of art. I have based my painting on graffiti I saw in Paris. Over time graffiti art becomes layered with other peoples work until the original work is almost gone but still shows through. This is what i have tried to to do in my painting there is probably around 15 different layers of paint. I used watercolour as a starting point then switched to acrylic. I have tried to create as many different textures and marks to give the painting depth. I think this work should be framed behind glass with quite a large white mount made from a really thick mount board. The frame could be a modern black oak or a white ornate frame could look really impressive.

The paper is Fabriano Artistic 640gsm very thick watercolour paper.
