Original artwork description:

Continuing the series of paintings that began as a collage of greeting cards, recipes, letters, notes, lists, envelopes--all of the minutia that make up "the time of our lives". This particular painting has a Christmas theme and a palette of silver, gold, black and red, with words like "noel, peace, joy, love, hope, Christ and joy to the world" embedded in the image. There is also a recipe for Black Forest cake, a holiday favorite. The collage was then mounted on canvas and overpainted in acrylic and oil. The painting has been given a sat varnish for protection. Hanging hardware is already installed.
