Artwork description:

In his studio, Professor Pennyfarman builds a Time Carousel. In order to confirm if writings are authentic or a hoax a time machine is used to travel back in time and holographically insert himself into series of events. He asks despite his lack of faith because since the creation of the World Wide Web, science, the government, and religion have deceived, propagandized, and manufactured evidence. Pennyfarman travels to a number of locations to confirm historical accounts that shaped the perilous modern world. Some historical narratives appear to be distorted, poorly translated, and the majority of events never occurred. He returns with new data from the time machine, which sets off a global paradigm shift.

Steampunk is a subgenre of science fiction that incorporates retro futuristic technology and aesthetics inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery. Steampunk works are often set in an alternative history of the Victorian era or the American "Wild West", where steam power remains in mainstream use, or in a fantasy world that similarly employs steam power. Steampunk most recognizably features anachronistic technologies or retro futuristic inventions as people in the 19th century might have envisioned them — distinguishing it from Neo-Victorianism and is likewise rooted in the era's perspective on fashion, culture, architectural style, and art.
