The tiger is generally an emblem of dignity, ferocity, sternness and courage. They are also a symbol of protection.
The rock formations reveal elements of Chinese Ming style painting with its spaciousness and natural depiction of landscape elements. The most favoured colour scheme for shading these rocks was blue and green, the two mineral pigments derived from natural stone deposits.

This artwork is painted on 300mg Arches Finest Smooth Watercolour PaperThe painting is mounted with a neutral card with a black core. It is custom framed in black wood and has museum quality non-reflective glass.
