Original artwork description:

Moss Landing Harbor is a great marina at a junction right before the highways 156 and 1 merge to head towards Monterey. The boats here are kept clean, and the sea lions sunning themselves on the walkways are a fun sight.
On frequent visits there, I enjoy strolling around the harbor after lunch at Phil's Fish Market. I like observing the busy harbor, watching moored boats dance on the water. The bright red Tiffany boat always has my attention.

Materials used to create this work:
Oil on Oil Primed slightly textured, organic look natural linen canvas. Linen is not pumiced, for a unique, nubby, non-uniform finish. Solid pine stretcher bars 3/4"D x 2.17"W. Canvas is first stretched and back-stapled, then primed for a drum-tight surface. Oil primed surface is specifically designed to provide beautiful results with oil paints. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish.

The painting is unframed, wired in the back on stretcher bars, and ready to hang without a frame.
