It is part of a new series of pieces on canvas. This piece was painted with my own personal mantra in mind: Beauty, Color and Texture. To this I add a mature design aesthetic. These piece is contrasted not only by the acrylic and oil mediums, but also by the bold structures and assembled painted fabric against the negative space. The color palette is mature and deep. The streaking, brick-like colors have almost a comic book style quality to them and the unique surface texture makes the colors pop even more out at the viewer. The unique dividing fabric structure also continues onto the edges of this canvas to frame the piece as well as add an additional three dimensional design quality.
