Original artwork description:

This is one of my favourite harbours. The tide had gone out leaving the fishing boats on the sand just as the sun was setting.

I start the canvas with a rough pencil sketch and then I add the coloured paper before building up the layers with acrylic paint. The last thing I add are the embellishments of thread, beads, buttons and glitter to pick out or highlight certain areas.
