Original artwork description:

This painting is inspired from the time I sat on the beach with my sketchbook and was so engrossed with my work that the tide came in and I got wet feet and had to grab all my stuff and run for safety. My aim with this painting is to create an atmosphere by using the oil in different ways to create textures. I hope you like it. I was very pleased with the result.

Materials used:

Birchwood panel, oil paints, wax medium, linseed oil
