This NEW Original One of Kind artwork today! It is called, "Thundering Twilight!" This artwork is painted on a section of sailboat Sail Canvas material measuring approx. 32 inches wide by 22 inches high. It depicts a Wild spirited Horse running down a beach at twilight. Crashing through the surf wildly as a light house calmly searching the horizon for the sailboats sail the ocean. It is another addition to our series of artworks created on repurposed sections of Sailboat canvas. As I mentioned above this is another creation in our NEW Series made from discarded Sail boat Sails. I love to take discarded items and refurbish them into works of art. I was able to obtain a large amount of Sailboat Sail material through an acquaintance that is a dear friend of my Sister. So I am going to re-purpose small sections of this sail material into works of art concerning sailing, sailboats, and tall ships beaches, seascapes, etc. These section will not be perfect shapes. I want them look like torn sections of a lost ship. As you can see it is rustic. It is unraveled on the edges and wrinkled... like a piece of a sail found on the beach of a lost ship. I feel it would look great hung on a wall with tacks, or matching colored push pins. Some of my clients have use a hot glue gun to attach it to a dowel rod and hung it with a string or rope. Really looked great! The pieces look awesome with the slight wrinkles and imperfections. You can even participate in the creation of this artwork by unraveling it more it you want to make it look more distressed. So if you are Green minded this may be the perfect artwork for you!
