Thunder and lightning are not only opposites, but also a dynamic pairing. The abstract, tense painting in portrait format is inspired by the experience of a thunderstorm: like thunder and lightning, the warm colors seem to meet the cooler tones. Black and white, orange, red, blue, gray and pink tones seem to meet in a very dynamic or almost explosive way. The center is rich in details and contrasts, while the background is more flat and soft.

It was painted with professional acrylic paint on canvas. Stretched on a wooden frame (1.5" depth)
The sides are painted too.
