Original artwork description:

Thumsee is actually a mountain lake in Bavaria. I have been there a couple of weeks ago and was awed by the natural beauty. This visit inspired this painting.

I worked with acrylic colours on heavy watercolour paper. So the painting needs a frame. The frame in the in situ photograph is just an example. The work is sealed with a satin varnish to protect it against UV-rays and dust.
The painting is signed on the front and it has a clean white rim of 1 cm (0.4 in) around it.
