This piece is based on the interest in the coexistence and affinity between humans and animals. With this artwork the artist is examining the difference between human and animal perception and the associated emotions.
"Through Your Eyes I Want to See" is part of a series with animals as protagonists talking about our sometimes ambiguous (loving/exploiting) relationship we have with them. Margit is also fascinated by the beauty of this great sculpturelike construct that antlered animals carry on their head.
"Antlered" translated into german is "Geweiht" which also means "sacred,holy"...
Original painting on canvas signed on the reverse of the canvas.
Margit created this multilayer painting using fine artist oil colours which will not fade when they get exposed to UV light.
Together with the artwork you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity with the artist's signature and an exact description of the piece.
