Original artwork description:

A painting of one of my favourite areas of the Ashdown Forest, down in a valley where there's a dense wooded area with streams and footpaths. I have used cool blue/greens and pink tones to describe the wintry light, and my usual loose brushwork and marks. The painting is on a deep canvas so that it can be displayed as it is or within a frame.
