Original artwork description:

Occassionally I like to work in a watercolour-like way with Black Indian Ink and a Squirrel Hair brush. I like to create expressive monotone paintings, the simplification to black and white gives an air of sophistication!

this was painted at a lovely Birch woodland, and I have used the ink and various brushes and small sponges to add texture to the piece. Painted on light blue/grey watercolour paper.

Materials used:

paper, watercolour paint
