'Thriving’ is an original abstract painting on canvas, a calming artwork that inspires tranquility but also has a quiet intensity.

Through abstract art I have found a means to explore and give form to my elusive inner world. My vibrant abstract artworks feature a mass of intertwining colours and patterns as I explore the balance between permanence and impermanence of form and shape. I apply primary paint colours with a palette knife to produce the spectrum of colours in flowing contours reminiscent of ripples on water. Featuring a warm glowing light and plenty of contrast, these uplifting paintings have a hint of drama, a sense of the sublime.
