My painting “There’s A Storm Brewing’ resulted from painting over an existing work.
I can’t quite remember what was underneath, but I know it was largely orange and brown. I therefore chose the complementary colour of blue to start working.
Abstract art is art that does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead use shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks to achieve its effect.
However, somehow my abstracts do seem to take on a landscape form.
